|
"Splitters" accept SDIs into the Input Queue. Then, based on conditions you specify when building the Workflow in the Workflow Definition Page, split the SDIs between two (or among more than two) Output Queues based on those conditions. All Splitters are based on the SplitterStep.
For example, "SplitSampleComplete" (below) accepts Samples into the Input Queue, then splits the Samples between two Output Queues: one that matches the criteria you specify, and another that does not match the criteria.

When building the Workflow in the Workflow Definition Page, you choose the Sample "Staus To Match". Samples with the "Status To Match" are sent to the "Matched Samples" Output Queue. Samples that do not match this Status are sent to the "Other Samples" Output Queue.

"SplitBatchStatus" splits the Batches between those that match the selected criteria ("Matched Batch") and those that do not ("Other Batch").

"SplitSampleData Value" splits the Samples between those that match the selected criteria ("Matched Samples") and those that do not ("Other Samples"). The selected criteria includes a logical operator, value, Parameter List primary keys, and Parameter primary keys with Data Set Number and Replicate Id.

"SplitSampleReceived" splits the Samples between those that match the selected criteria ("Matched Samples") and those that do not ("Other Samples").

"SplitSampleSpecStatus" splits the Samples between those that match the selected criteria ("Matched Samples") and those that do not ("Other Samples"). There are no Setup Variables in the Workflow Definition. Samples are directed to the Output Queues based on the Specification Condition (below).
