The childsampleplan Element manages the Child Sample definition for a Child Sample Plan.

Property Name Description
Plan Type Determines whether Child Sample Plans are created using a restricted LIMS mode, or with full Biobanking functionality.
Property NameDescription
BioBankingFull Biobanking functionality is allowed including Child Samples, Grand Child Samples, Aliquots and Derivatives.
LIMSA restricted set of functionality is allowed. Only Child Samples can be defined.

Test Maintenance pages have been configured to display Child Sample Plans in LIMS mode.
Mode The mode of the Element. Choose Edit or View.
•Edit (default) adds, removes, edits, or re-sequences items.
•View is read-only.
Template Selection Determines whether or not to allow selection of Sample Templates for Child Samples.

Allow Sample Template SelectionChoose Yes or No (default).
Sample Template Selection Restrictive WhereRestrictive where clause to apply if the query is Form-based (as determined by the Searches).
Quantity Units Units to show for Child Sample quantity.
