Description |
Updates information that is missing from PKG Packages that have been shipped or emptied.
Required Roles |
User must have the Role "Package Receiver" or "Repository User".
Validation |
| • | Package status must be "Shipped" or "Emptied". |
Results |
| • | Package is received and emptied by the Contact associated with the current User. |
| • | If Package status is "Shipped", it changes to "Emptied". |
Procedure |

Click the LIMS >Packages > Proxy Packages tramstop. The "Proxy Package List" page opens:

Select Samples to update, then click "Update Receiver Information". |

The (read-only) "Receive Proxy Package" page opens in a new window...
...with the (read-only) "Contents" detail below it:
...and the (read-only) "Contacts" detail:
This shows the Internal Contact for the "Origination" Custodial Department. In the example above, "Dark Knight" is the Contact for the "EC" Custodial Department, from which the Package was created and shipped. |

Click "Proxy Receive and Empty Package".
The "Contacts" detail shows the Contact associated with the current User ("Joker" in the example above). The "Function" column indicates that this Contact received and emptied the Package. Note that, in the future, you will probably be able to select the Contact (if multiple Contacts are associated with the current User) and/or the "Function". |
