The Templates menu (Lab Admin → Templates) provides facilities to add, edit, view, and delete Templates for Samples, Studies, Incidents, Batches, Batch Stages, Requests, and Scheduled Samples. A Template is merely a clone of an SDI, including everything associated with it. For example, a User Template can associate security settings or Department membership to a User Template when creating new Users, while a Sample Template can define Specifications that are common across multiple Samples.
