Stability Events View

 

The Stability Events View shows a comprehensive view of historical and prospective information regarding Stability Tasks.

Navigate to LIMS → Stability → Future Planning, or use the Review Calendar button on the Active Studies list page (LIMS → Stability → Active Studies).

The Stability Events View displays in either the Event List Mode (below).

 

Or, using the Calendar. See View and Manage Scheduled Events for more specific details about using the Calendar View.

Use the following options to refine and manage Events shown in either the Calendar View or the Event List.

  Mode

Choose to view Events in the Calendar View or on the Event List page.

  Edit (and Move) Events

Select an Event either in the Event List, or within the Calendar (Month) and click "Edit Event".

In the Calendar View the selected Event is highlighted in red.

Clicking the Edit Event button opens the Edit Event dialog.

You can change the Event Date here (to move the Event to a different date), or move the Event using your mouse (by dragging and dropping the Event to a new date) in the Month Calendar View.

NOTE:  This option is disabled for Tasks that are already completed.

 

Show Details

The Show Details button opens the Event Details dialog (same as above without the option to define a New Event Date).

  Events

Choose what you would like to show concerning this Task:

Show...
Scheduled All Scheduled Events (see Study Mechanics).
Done All Tasks that have been executed.
Flagged All Tasks that have been Flagged (Events that land on an excluded date).
Error All Tasks that have failed.
Any All of the above.
  Task

Choose the type of Task you want to see in the Calendar or List. Limit the view by selecting only a certain type of Event, or Schedule Task (such as AdvancedPullSample).

  Query Studies By

Choose whether you want to view the Task information for a single Study or all Studies, or by Study Suite, Department or Owner. Optionally choose to exclude inactive Studies by checking "Only Active Studies".

  Show Excursions Calendar (Calendar View only)

If you have created an Exclude Calendar (see Calendar Maintenance) the excluded dates are highlighted. Excluded Dates and any conflicts are highlighted in the Calendar View. See Exclusion Calendars for more information.

  Legend for Counts (Calendar View only)

The Legend for Counts signifies the number of Events to execute on a particular date. Initially, the range in the legend is calculated based on the number of Tasks for the current calendar year. As different options are selected (such as the type of Task or Event), the legend changes accordingly.

NOTE:   OOB an "Autoscaled" event count is provided, the type is "Automatic". This means that the event counts are automatically counted so that the event count per day, for the day with the maximum number of events, is the last color definition. The other classes are automatically distributed.

The OOB autoscaled legend and colors are as follows (depending on the number of events shown):

Optionally, manually configure additional colors using the StabilityEventsViewDlg page, scheduleeventlist Calendar Properties.

  Date Range (Event List only)

Specify a Date Range for the list.

Group By (Event List only)

Choose to Group by "Event Date", "Status", "Task", "Study", "Time Point" or "Condition".

  Row Limit

Limit the number of Events shown in the Event List or Calendar.

Refresh

Refreshes the Calendar or Event List after making changes to the criteria.

In the Calendar View, hovering over a date lets you view details about Events including a list of Tasks for the selected date, and Sample information. Clicking the Task icon opens the Event Details dialog. Click the Sample hyperlink (Sample id) to open the View Sample page.

 

Window Start date and End dates are included. This considers any grace periods to determine a Window (Start and End dates) for the task.

When looking at the details for a moved Event, the original Event Date is also shown. Moved Events are shown with the Move icon .

 

 

Exclusion Calendars

 

The Show Exclusion Calendar dropdown shows the available shared Calendars in the system.

When selected, the Exclusion Calendar is included as an overlay on the Calendar Year view:

The legend explains the overlay indicating an Exclusion and any conflicts.

NOTE:   In other Calendar views, the Exclude dates are shown with a red background.
